MGM Grand Las Vegas - first trip to Vegas, great start
I went to Vegas for the first time with three girlfriends. Besides, the typical girl fights and pettiness we had a great time :) We stayed for 5 nights and the MGM was fabulous!
There were tons of things to do so we really didn't have to leave the hotel. We spend most of the days at the pool and loved the lazy river. Met tons of cool people and got really burned of course. The lion enclosure was incredible. Great restaurants, atmosphere and highly recommend
I have to be very honest I was very naive going to Vegas and am glad I stayed at the MGM. It was rather calm compared to other places I have stayed. It was the best place to experience the city for the first time and not as overwhelming and ostentatious as other properties.

Lion Habitat has FREE admission
The MGM has an up close and personal look at Lions. They have a Lion Habitat that is almost all glass (like an aquarium). The way the exhibit was built allows visitors to see the Lions under and within their living space. After a long day at the pool and gambling, it’s fun to just hang out drink a cold one and watch. It’s open from 11am to 7pm and admission is FREE. There is also some great people watching too (the habitat attracts a ton of people).

We don't stay anywhere else. The rooms overlooking the strip are great. Plenty of restaurant choices for all budgets. The property is big, so plan on doing a lot of walking.

MGM/Mirage properties set the standard on “The Strip” In my opinion! I just visited MGM Grand for 4 days & got back from there yesterday. Even though I didn’t hit a “Jackpot” this time I have hit my share in the past. Plainly said…”MGM properties ROCK”! ”CraftSteak” @ MGM Grand has great steaks & service! JT @ Craftsteak really hooks it up! Viva!!!

Beatiful Grand Hotel!
We just returned from a 5-night stay at the MGM Grand, and we had a great time. The 'river' pool was fun, there's drink service and a cafe there too. The room was tastefully decorated with a marble bathroom, the room was clean and the bed was like sleeping in heaven. The food was excellent - Wolfgang Puck's has the best steak I have ever tasted, the casino was superb, alot of action going on in the casino, The staff and service were impeccable!....what bad things can you say about this hotel?....we had none!

Classy,a must when in Vegas!
Stayed for 5 nights in a Deluxe king room on 26th Floor with great views of the mountains.
Rooms are high standard and most important they stay cool.
The pool areas are wonderful.
Food is of a good standard and the buffet breakfast is a must have.
It is the classiest hotel on the strip. I would definitely not stay anywhere else.

One of the best in VegasThe MGM was a great hotel to stay in, the service was good, the rooms were huge, great comps and the food was great too. The check-in was smooth and quick and they don't hesitate to bend over backwards for you, I was very impressed and will definitely return for another visit.

Entertaining place to stay and play
Entertaining place to stay and playThe MGM is great; spacious, clean rooms, nice casino, good restaurants, great shopping, and a monorail station. The negative side is the number of hookers that stand at the bottom of the elevators at night trying to "get a date." You have to show your room card to get into the elevators but the security doesn't do anything about the whores who harass you. Otherwise, it's a great place.
